Minimum Wages in Gujarat

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the minimum wages in Gujarat varied based on different categories of workers. The minimum wages were revised by the Government of Gujarat in 2020. Here are the minimum wages for different categories of workers in Gujarat:

  1. Unskilled workers: The minimum wage for unskilled workers was ₹9,839 per month.

  2. Semi-skilled workers: The minimum wage for semi-skilled workers was ₹10,938 per month.

  3. Skilled workers: The minimum wage for skilled workers was ₹12,032 per month.

These rates were for workers who worked for 8 hours a day. If the working hours exceeded 8 hours, the workers were entitled to overtime wages.

Please note that these rates were valid as of September 2021, and there might have been updates or revisions to the minimum wages by the Government of Gujarat since then.
