Minimum Wages in Karnatka

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the minimum wages in Karnataka varied based on different categories of workers. The minimum wages were revised by the Government of Karnataka in 2020. Here are the minimum wages for different categories of workers in Karnataka:

  1. Unskilled workers: The minimum wage for unskilled workers was ₹10,453 per month.

  2. Semi-skilled workers: The minimum wage for semi-skilled workers was ₹11,536 per month.

  3. Skilled workers: The minimum wage for skilled workers was ₹12,618 per month.

These rates were for workers who worked for 8 hours a day. If the working hours exceeded 8 hours, the workers were entitled to overtime wages.

Please note that these rates were valid as of September 2021, and there might have been updates or revisions to the minimum wages by the Government of Karnataka since then. It's always a good idea to check with the relevant authorities or the official website of the Government of Karnataka for the most up-to-date information on minimum wages in Karnataka.
